As experienced chefs, Nikki and Matt have worked in restaurants, bakeries, and hotel leisure which has made them confident chefs and allowed them to run and operate their own entities. They cater to each client's specific needs and whole-heartedly believe the client comes first.

Matthew Thompson

As a graduate from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute, Le Cordon Bleu, Matt has apprenticed under world-renowned Chef, Alan Wong in Hawaii. He has worked at two JW Marriott Resorts in the Banquet Kitchen and served as Kitchen Supervisor at the famous La Quinta Resort and Spa. Matt brings extensive travel to his craft, making for an authentic flare to his kitchen. Additionally, he has countless catering events and personal chef positions under his belt. In 2015 the couple opened their first restaurant, Nook!
    

Nikki Thompson

Nikki graduated from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute, Le Cordon Bleu, subsequent to which she apprenticed under the well-known Chef, Danny Morioka, at Sansei Steakhouse in Hawaii. Nikki worked alongside Matt at two JW Marriott Resorts in the banquet kitchen. She has also held the position of assistant Pastry Chef at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion in Phoenix, Arizona and Pastry Chef and Baker in a small in-town bakery. Nikki has accomplished countless catering events and enjoys focusing on the finer details such as wedding cakes and dessert tables. In 2015 the couple opened their first restaurant, Nook!
